Description: I have one male, approx. 50cm tall and 4 years old, two females 44 / 62cm tall, two and four years old.
Because these iguanas are only rare to get I am proud to hold three of these animals. One of the females got pregnant during this summer and I am waiting these days for laying.    >> more

Descent: Parts of Oregon and Idaho over Nevada, Utah, California, and Arizona till the Sonora Desert
Description: Their biotope can be described as a semi-desert; the ground can be firm, stony or sandy.
The temperature differences among day and night, summer and winter are very big and can reach 50°.

The Horned Lizard can normally be observed during their sunbathe beginning with March. Until end of May the lizards copulate and till mid June the female lay their eggs. The eggs then need approx. 6 weeks. Mid June till end of August the first youngsters hatch and end of September – beginning October the hibernation starts.

Descent: South Africa and South Namibia
Description: Bibronii are active by night and live in the vivarium under quartz tiles. In summer begins their active time around 9pm.
This year 5 puppies hatched, although in the vivarium temperature differences are high – I was surprised that so many puppies hatched. So it has nothing to do with the incubator temperature.    >> more

Description: The White Spot Geckos are treated like the Bibroniis.
But Tarantulas you can also see during the day, especially if the temperature is over 40°. They are living in a cone made of heighten cliff. Regrettably I couldn’t found an egg laying.

Description: Der Esteban Chuckwalla ist durch seine begrenzte Verbreitung stark gefährdet und steht deswegen in der WA-Liste ANHANG 1
Er ist ein Boden bzw.auch ein Felsenbewohner durch seine Farbenpracht ( gelb, orange, weiß und schwarz gefleckt) gehört er sicher zu den imposantesten Chuckwallas überhaupt! Nahrung und Temperatur ist gleich wie bei allen anderen Chuckwalla Arten!
